Christo — Director

Christo Director

Building for 18 years specialising in custom design homes and architectural builds.

I was raised in the Northern Rivers, neighbouring the Nightcap National Park. From an early age, I fostered a love for construction, while working on a citrus farm, always building things during my childhood. Though I initially pursued an environmental engineering degree, my passion for hands-on work drew me back to the familial trade under my uncle's guidance, where he took me on board as an apprentice. Looking to broaden my experiences, I was fortunate enough to move overseas to live and work, mainly in the European and Canadian Alps, where I refined my carpentry skills (as well as my snowboarding). After returning, I resumed my passion for renovating and restoring Queenslanders, eventually establishing a successful business in Brisbane specialising in high-end Queenslanders and architectural custom homes. As we looked towards starting a family, my partner Paula and I felt compelled to return to the tranquility of the Northern Rivers. Drawing from my experience in the industry, my overall goal is to combine my passions for supporting vibrant local communities and upholding quality craftsmanship.

Ally — Office Manager

Ally Office Manager

Logistics, administration, interior design and team comms for 3 years.

Ally is our beloved office powerhouse, rockstar and super mum. Ally is the glue, nails and screws that hold the Muskens Office strong. Ally's communication and demeanor are brilliant but what's even better is her passion for music, playing in a successful touring psych/rock band. If you want to talk music, pull up a stump!

Guy — Supervisor

Guy Supervisor

Building for 22 years specialising in carpentry, supervision and project management.

Big 'G' is a loving father of 5, three girls, one boy and a 3 tonne Kubota Excavator named Pepper. If he's not on site he's usually on another site building, or planning a build. He lives and breathes carpentry and is a wealth of knowledge and leadership for our team. He's our go-to guy for advice and problem solving.

Xavier — Lead Carpenter

Xavier Lead Carpenter

Building for 18 years specialising in high end architectural builds and project supervision.

Xavier made the trek North to escape the Victorian cold and has settled with his family in the Northern Rivers bringing his valuable carpentry skill set with him. When the tool belt's down, Xavier is often spotted at the farmers markets, local waterfalls, or at a music gig. He's always good for a dance no matter the time, just ask!

Ben — Carpenter

Ben Carpenter

Building for 4 years in Australia specialising in renovations and new builds.

Benny is currently finishing his carpentry apprenticeship on a travel Visa from England and has decided to make the Northern Rivers his home. Benny has a pure love for animals and their well being, spending most weekends volunteering at a local animal shelter. He also has one of the coolest cats you've ever met.

Mark — Carpenter

Mark Carpenter

Building for 16 years and specialises in renovations and new builds.

Mark was born and raised in the hinterland behind Cabarita. When he's not building you'll most likely find him attending to his bananas, pineapples and probably the best dragonfruit you've ever wrapped your lips around, or taking the kids for a burn on the motorbikes. He's a great builder with even greater chat.

Richie — Mature Age Apprentice

Richie Mature Age Apprentice

Mature age apprentice with 4 years experience building — loves a good deck.

Richie started labouring during Covid to support his brewery (Earth Beer Company) and ended up loving it so much that he started his apprenticeship. When he's not pouring beers in Cudgen, you'll definitely see him in the local lineup surfing or swimming with the kids.
